Terms of the award

Scholarship Period
Three years of doctoral study within the approved period, unless an extension is formally approved under University policy.
Teaching Fellowship
Service as a Doctoral Teaching Fellow, with a minimum of twelve teaching hours per week during active teaching periods.
Publication
At least one publishable academic paper each year during the period of doctoral study.
Service Bond
A minimum of five years of service to the University following successful PhD completion.
Conduct
Adherence to Christian and professional standards of conduct, and compliance with University policies.

The award of the Titi-Ofei Doctoral Scholarship is subject to the full terms and conditions of the University of Gold Coast and the Titi-Ofei Doctoral Scholarships Committee. These include verification of academic documents, satisfactory admission into the PhD programme, continued eligibility, annual performance review, compliance with University policies, fulfilment of the Doctoral Teaching Fellowship requirement, adherence to Christian and professional standards of conduct, and acceptance of the five-year post-completion service bond.

The University reserves the right to review, suspend, vary or withdraw the scholarship where a scholar fails to meet the obligations attached to the award. Terms and conditions apply.
