Highly motivated Christian MPhil holders from a recognised university, with strong academic performance, research potential and a clear commitment to a long-term academic career within the University of Gold Coast.

The award supports doctoral study within an approved three-year scholarship period, unless an extension is formally approved under University policy.

Every recipient serves as a Doctoral Teaching Fellow, lecturing, facilitating tutorials or supporting academic delivery for a minimum of twelve hours per week during active teaching periods, under senior-faculty mentorship.

Recipients are bonded to serve the University of Gold Coast for a minimum of five years after successful completion of the PhD, in teaching, research, supervision, academic leadership or a related role.

Publications strengthen an application, but candidates without formal publications may still be considered where there is compelling evidence of exceptional research promise and doctoral readiness.

Three confidential recommendations are required: one academic, one pastoral, and one professional or leadership reference.

Certificates, transcripts, CV, personal statement, research concept paper, MPhil thesis abstract, evidence of publications or writing, a pastoral confirmation letter and a national identification document. Uploads are accepted in PDF, DOC or DOCX.
