Terms and conditions
1. The award
The award of the Titi-Ofei Doctoral Scholarship is subject to the full terms and conditions of the University of Gold Coast and the Titi-Ofei Doctoral Scholarships Committee.
2. Conditions of the award
These include verification of academic documents, satisfactory admission into the PhD programme, continued eligibility, annual performance review, compliance with University policies, fulfilment of the Doctoral Teaching Fellowship requirement, adherence to Christian and professional standards of conduct, and acceptance of the five-year post-completion service bond.
3. Applicant declaration
By submitting an application, the applicant declares that the information provided is true, complete and accurate to the best of their knowledge, and confirms that they have read and understood the core conditions of the scholarship, including the Doctoral Teaching Fellowship requirement, the twelve-hour weekly teaching obligation during active teaching periods, the annual publication expectation and the five-year post-completion service bond.
4. Selection is competitive
The Titi-Ofei Doctoral Scholarship is a competitive award. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. False, incomplete or misleading information may result in disqualification or withdrawal of the scholarship.
5. Review, suspension and withdrawal
The University reserves the right to review, suspend, vary or withdraw the scholarship where a scholar fails to meet the academic, teaching, character, service, bond or institutional obligations attached to the award. Terms and conditions apply.
